I will never object to any alternative view...as long as they are supported by some kind of sensible analysis and/or reasoning. In fact, my main reason for posting on any topic is to actually get alternative views from people...so that I can re-visit my own reasons for liking or disliking a stock.
What I object to is the kind of agenda driven, incessant tiatribe, that gets posted by people with an obvious lack of knowledge on the given subject.
Some of the recent rubbish posted about widths vs depth, stope face sampling vs intersections and now the placement vs shareholders scheme, just goes to prove some peoples lack of knowledge of how things really work.
I am sure there would be plenty of "industry" people, who would be absolutely cacking themselves over some of the posts made recently about LEG.
It seems whenever people don't quite understand what a shareprice is doing or why, they resort to "conspiracy theories", "insider trading", "company mates", etc, etc... as some kind of explanation.
I'll admit that this kind of stuff goes on all the time...and I for one love trying to determine the politics at play with many of these types of scenarios...but in the end, it is important that we don't end up throwing the baby out with the bath water.
As I see it, LEG is fundamentally sound and rapidly gaining wider market support...and the placement simply confirms this.
I have previously posted my "valuation" for LEG and asked people to offer their opinions...a perfect opportunity for those with an alternative view to refute my views...but unfortunately, I think I only got 4 or 5 replies, all pretty much agreeing with my figures.
Perhaps there was a reason for that?
