You keep plucking exceptions to push your own warped thinking. Reality is that holding on to losing positions leads to bigger losses. GXY is not RSG and Li is not gold.

Hopefully no one ever takes this as advice. Being stubborn and never taking a loss can lead to ruin. It has been proven over and over and anyone that's honest would admit to having made the mistake of not selling when they should have, but I realise that in here everyone is always up and never has a losing trade.

The notion that you haven't lost if you don't sell is so ridiculous and HC is the only place where you don't get laughed at for saying such thing.
