Westpac knew about AUSTRAC probe into Child Exploitation etc 6 weeks prior to AUSTRAC taking Westpac to Court!

1. Westpac knew, but failed to inform ASX-or indeed anyone else-prior to $2.5 Billion Capital Raisings!
2. CR Brokers, Advisers etc-UBS, CiTI, JPMorgan-were (a) either not informed by WBC CEO Brian Hartzer & CFO Peter King and/or (b) Brokers failed to ask Questions. Either way, totally damning indictment.
3. No wonder Regulator ASIC is Investigating.
4. Westpac CEO Brian Hartzer & CFO Peter King have more than some serious questions to answer.
5. Westpac Board must also take responsibility.
6. IMO, expect Class Actions to now follow.
Above should raise further numerous Investigations by Regulators-Watchdogs-ASX, APRA, ASIC, AFCA- Plus by Government.
