Back in 2015, after I got FBR, someone on this board mentioned SAS and explained why he picked FBR instead of SAS. The problem with SAS is the cost of sending micro satellites into orbit. Regardless, how low cost it might get, even at lower/upper atmosphere, it just means the micro satellites cost just doesn't make sense. I think FBR makes more sense in the long term and punted on FBR instead.
