Hi,
Metals X and Yunnan Tin Group have a 50/50 joint venture called Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture that owns the Renison assets.
Perhaps Yunnan Tin Group will make an opportunistic offer for the 50% Joint Venture owned by MLX. MLX cannot make a counter offer due to low share price and weak balance sheet.
MLX ends up with Nifty (don't laugh) some cash etc. Directors reward themselves, spend cash closing Nifty, and MLX share price tanks to zero.
Don't see an out of this scenario.
I have lost a shitload of money so this is academic - except for the fact the AU is losing a strategic asset.
