Since 1976 Australian politicians have denigrated, been unsupportive and even abusive of increasingly overworked and underpaid public school teachers.
Politicians have made an artform out of shaming and blaming teachers for their own failures, the lies they've rammed down voters' throats to avoid being held to account and made crude attempts to corrupt the curriculum to their own partisan ends.
Their behaviour begs the question as to why should anyone turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the lies, failures, environmental vandalism and community division of Scott Morrison's rotten politicians?
