tried to keep my comment hat off - but hard too when i read such misleading drivel, either from the company or posters here.

but Visa and Mastercard have 2 factor authentication systems that they provide for the banks: called
- Verified by Visa
- Mastercard Secure Code

this uses either a known secret or an OTP sent to mobile phone or email and is an integral part of the payment system.

FWIW the system is mandated by Singapore Govt for all CNP ( Card Not Present) payments

"No competitor at all " just the biggest players in the payment industry.


the main reason ISX has revenue is because they provide services to industry sectors that the banks and other PSPs wont touch - which is Ok until it isnt !
