The idea of gap fill is a potent construct. There's no inherent need for it - certainly there's no reason for our sp to fall even further from here. But a gap on a chart sticks out.

The idea of a chart telling us something is as superstitious as reading tea-leaves. But we all love extrapolating from charts, and enough people seeing a particular shape emerging will help that shape to come about. A gap cries out to be filled, and people heeding that 'cry' will contribute to its happening.

I would prefer sp fireworks right now, but am not specially concerned if 'gap fill' at 25c happens first.
