    I would imagine that Painchek will be used in a monitoring type roll. Phillips are all about patient monitoring and as mentioned they already have a camera on the patient so it would be quite simple to use painchek in this manner. It doesn't have to be for only non verbal patients either. If phillips are monitoring their patients 24/7 in hospital beds with heart monitors etc etc, they add on painchek and in the morning looking at the overnight graphs (whatever) the nurse could easily say, "Hey Mr Kool, i notice on your charts here you were suffering a bit of pain overnight, how do you feel now?" "i know your a red hot blooded aussie male Mr. Kool but you don't have to be in pain, it's not a sign of weakness. In fact i find men that can speak of how they feel quite attractive" (Well, we could only hope right? redface.png).

    So can anyone on this forum tell me that a hospital would say to phillips, nah we don't want to pay an extra $2 per bed for that!

    this is why PD feels the hospitals could be a bigger market than the age care sector. All IMO, hope I'm right
