I was at an event last night here in here in Perth and the keynote speaker was an investment banker with 30 years of experience in making corporate deals. He said that exploration companies with a market cap of less than $500m are going to struggle to raise the necessary finance to get their projects off the ground.
One of the main problems is that capital is going into Exchange Traded Funds rather than directly into individual companies.
