Well that’s a good point - IF government support comes along that is effective, timely, and strategic it could well help the western-end of the REE industry. I guess I had subconsciously dismissed this as a near-term tailwind since I have little faith that the powers that be will apply their resources wisely.
I’m just spitballing here, but rather than throwing money down new holes in the ground, it might be more effective to focus on fast-tracking bureaucracy to whatever extent possible. I hope the US, AUS, etc governments are consulting with relevant stakeholders to assess what is really needed to get from here to there.
