Stars Group just acquired the 20% they didn't already own in BetEasy for $250m (included performance awards to local management). BetEasy and PointsBet at different stages of their life cycles but interesting to compare the perceived value of 20% stake in a online bookmaker in a mature market versus what paying for PointsBet which has a lot of upside in US *if* they can capture market share. Big question is if and what it costs to do so!
