Kingston67’s comment yesterday encapsulates my concern. Quite clearly, HGO should have sorted out the underground mining issue with AGL when they were negotiating the PHES agreement. HGO’s board should have insisted upon that. Current management should not be blamed for the board’s omission.
On a happier note, I’ve been doing some market research on the Marble Bar. A good friend of mine (who, like me, does not live in Queensland) had lunch there earlier this week, and spoke very highly of it.
