EdenCrete and the Georgia Department of Transportation just completed the first of two spans in the construction of a new bridge in Gainesville. The original concrete is designed to achieve 4000-psi at 28-days. In new bridge construction, the development of concrete strength delays trades and service vehicles from completing their work and opening the bridge. With EdenCrete, the mix exceeded 4000-psi in only 72-hours without accelerator and it was easier for contractors to place and finish. EdenCrete is working to demonstrate its ability to help put new concrete bridges into service sooner, reducing schedule, budget, traffic, and inconvenience to the public.
