To all HC posters
We have an update on how helmenesh is progressing.

Trapper and I are in continual contact with him (or with members of his family) and will continue to keep everyone up to date.
We now have approval from the family to advise what happened

He had a massive stroke - which has left him with the right hand side of his body paralysed
In the last couple of days he has sensed some feeling in his right leg
We don't know how long his recovery and rehabilitation will take - early thoughts are possibly 3 months

His mind is still active - and going at 1 million miles per hour.
When we have been able to speak with him, though his speech is laboured, he is able to carry on a good conversation and we can assure everyone here that he really does appreciate the messages of support he receives on HC so well done to those who have conveyed messages of support. We know they are genuinely deeply appreciated

His family, who have been wonderful keeping us informed when he is not able to, are caring for his wife

He is ALWAYS in our thoughts and we will keep you informed throughout his expected long slow recovery
