"The financial world accepts it as ethical"... you lost me right there. The financial world has a long, sordid history of trying to justify its dubious money making practices. IF price "discovery" is justified, do it using the same rules as everyone else. Sever the teat of high speed, exchange linked, small parcel, algorithm driven trades the 'financial world' sucks on and let's see how much they still wish to discover.
