One of the problems I see at the moment is that Trump is seeking re election next year, so I can see him pushing the Fed to prop up the markets at all costs.
He is staking his re election on the US markets and has already said Dow 30,000 is coming.
Rate cuts, QE whatever it takes to keep the market humming along as his re election may rest on it.
