Are you trying to tell me, that the word of God is not referred to as "the word"?
    -------------------
Wotsup, it is quite evident that at times the Scriptures speak of ''The Word of God'' as a person.

(Revelation 19:13) and he is clothed with an outer garment stained with blood, and he is called by the name The Word of God.

It is just as evident that the Scriptures at other times use ''the word of God'' when referring to the Bible's message.

(Hebrews 4:12) For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints from the marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Few would argue ''the word of God'' refers to a person in the above case.
