Wotsup, you're endeavoring to equate ''word'' throughout the Scriptures with ''the Word'' of John 1:1. That is like suggesting every time the word ''love'' is used in the Scriptures it refers to ''God''. It leads to confusion.Mr G, no where have I ever done what your suggesting, saying that every time "the word" is seen, it is referring directly to God and your trying to do with this love stunt.What you have written here suggest, your not up to speed with the different meaning, context's of "the word".
First up, YOU should know full well, the "W" as in capital, should NOT have been added to John 1:1 and if you going to do so, then you need to make all the letters capitals.
So ask yourself the Logic question, why in God's name would you tamper with the meaning of "the word" in ONLY 3-4 places?
That SHOULD ring alarm bells.
Are you trying to tell me, that the word of God is not referred to as "the word"?
Are you going to also try and tell me that the following cannot be, is not referred to as "the word" --> Titus 1:2 - In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before time eternal;

Are You going to try and tell us, that these two references, "the word" was not in the beginning with the God?
Are you going to tell us, this logos was not first within God, "his own purpose"?

Jesus exalted and via INHERITANCE receives the name and name only, The word of God.

(Greek truth, whether you like is or not --> In the beginning was the word and the word was with the God and God was the word).And no, Jesus at John 1:1 is not exalted to the position of a God, that only shows up from my understanding at 1:18, after he is in the bosom (light) of the Fathers.
