With our Reserve Bank Exchange Settlement Account (ESA), AFSL and ADI licenses already in progress, ISX will in future be able to compete directly with the ASX owned Austraclear that offers BIS Model 1 with T+2 and single currency. ISX will deliver a far more advanced BIS Model 2 and 3 DvP, incorporating T+1 and multi-currency settlement. This will in due course give a large number of Australian brokers direct connectivity to ISX’s ecosystem, and Australia an alternative to the Austraclear monopoly.
