my understanding is ALK are looking at underground for all in order to avoid lengthy approvals around environmental impact and most likely relocation of the highway. So underground tunnel to go straight through McLeans and pick up the low grade ore since having to dig it anyway.
Obviously this is just speculation on my behalf.
