It is turning into a real dog fight everyday which drains everyone -maybe this has gone on for years - I don't know, Ignore works to a point , except you end up baffled by the comments , as you haven't read what has come before . And you can misread the flow of thought, as you are missing half of it . And there is the temptation to unignore people - just to catch up on juicy bits . There is drama galore on these pages . I think if you want to be professional in your approach , you do have to use ignore , as all the dog fighting is distracting (Maybe that is it's purpose) . But to be honest , part of human nature is - we want to watch the dog fight , or join in . It is entertaining. And we also want to defend our mates when we see them being picked on. Most work places however would not put up with this level of conflict , as it is counterproductive , and takes it's toll on us all. Anyone that all this drama bothers, should use ignore, and be dilligent to stay out of the drama on hotcopper. And not even read it. That requires self-discipline. I respect anyone that can do that. Most of us probably get drawn in. There will always be those that live for the drama , and it actually doesn't bother. They can happily dive straight into the fight. - that's awesome that you have a such a thick skin. Hat's off to you. The price for that though , is being put on ignore.
