That conclusion does not follow from the data. Data is simply an historic diagram of the past in a limited period. It does not guarantee anything about the course of future events. The further you get from the end of the data period the greater the chance of significant deviation - 'the expanding funnel of doubt'.
Much more important will be whether or not the Chinese Government up their subsidies and that may well depend on how the trade war pans out.
