Used to go blackberry picking as a kid. Come home absolutely covered in the juice- all over the clothes and face and hands. No easy feat trying to get those stains off. Used to love them- haven't had any for years. Used to be hazelnut and chestnut trees as well. Natures bounty, and all free. The wood behind our home in spring was a blaze of colour with daffodils, primroses and bluebells. Loved going out early in the morning and picking them. Our home was always filled with flowers.
