I'm on the side of immediate acquittal. No witnesses, no delay, day one, acquit.
The Dems don't have a proven crime, why waste everybody's time?
Much as it would amuse me to see the Dem nominees tied up in Washington, spectators to an utterly partisan 'trial' designed to do the most political damage possible, I don't think that would be the best thing to do moving forward.
The Dems have disgraced themselves and made a mockery of the impeachment process, their call, draw a line under it and move on.
