Further adding to my post above, if we look at the KDR - Wesfarmer transaction, it took a good 5 months to completions.
Wesfarmer offer announced 2nd of May and completion of takeover was late September. Plus the legal and practical handover probably add another month or 2, that takes the whole process to 6 to 7 months from offer to completion ownership.
Therefore, it would make good sense if the suitor factors this into their timeframe calculations, if they take over KV between the quiet time of upcoming MRE upgrade and the 2020 year end DFS , they could then have both DFS report and KV ownership at around the same time by end of 2020 give or take afew months.
They could then start 2021 with good forward planning.
