Nah I think we're on the same page, this is dead. I'd anticipate that they will wind up proceedings and a new management team/suite of directors would give the shell a fresh start with consolidation and raise to boot... I'm actually surprised they've stayed on for this long.
At a guess this will happen prior to conversion or in conjunction.
