imagine if that legislation goes through and the Martu consider themselves dudded by the ban which could affect their financial entitlements up the track from the mining of uranium - what would you do if you were in their shoes? easy - you'd ban all mining and exploration permits across the entire state which required sign off under native title legislation..... all further mining exploration and all current mining applications subject to native title would grind to a halt.... nice one Carpenter....
