picastoc is correct re the mass produced & heavily processed honey found in supermarkets. my neighbour has hives all over , and its his livelyhood. when he has too much he runs it down to capliano in brisbane and dumps it there for $5.90 / kg. only when he has too much though. they blend it with some type of syrup that is imported. you can see the containers of the gear in their yard. home made cold spun & filtered is the go , and cant you taste the difference..
