Ah well, you got me there! Trouble is, we don't live forever. and if you have to wait ten years for a stock to get back to what you paid for it - well let's agree that's not an ideal situation. I daresay those who got in for 20c in 2009 are still not happy that it got to $4.40 in 2013, and then dropped for the next 6 years!
I'm 66 years old and recently retired. I've held FXL for about 4 years and am still many thousands down on my original investment. I wish I had bought CSL at the IPO and hung in forever, but I didn't. I bought FXL thinking it wouldn't take me 10 years to make a profit on them, and I'm not happy!
Such is life. Just having a gripe. I will hang in there for a not longer, but I'm not hearing any noises that give me great confidence.
