It is fair to put some risk on Turkey. However, although I don't have a high tolerance for risk I am comfortable with this one.
Factors in IPM's favour are that Turkey is pretty stable, they have good support from the Turkish government and they get involved in supporting locals (eg the grant/loan schemes) and receive support back.
Bottom line is there are plenty of other oilers with more risk and this is a professionally run profitable company with good corporate guidance.
IMO the pipeline incident was isolated.
