    @HiDiHi: The answer to your question is quite easy - there is not yet any other major HPA producer around. While there are a handful of companies currently producing and selling HPA, it is for all of them just one out of a large range of chemicals they produce with little impact on their revenues and earnings. If the price for say 1% of the products in your product mix goes up it still is just a tiny part of your business - isn't it?

    Have a look at the current HPA sellers:

    They are all huge companies and I see none where their HPA production would be a significant part of their annual turnover. Baikowski (http://www.baikowski.com/products/applications) might still come closest to this, but even they sell much more other stuff. have a look at their website.
