Yes I'm sure the American public are happy to put aside their real concerns and watch the senate examine what might be meant by a few sentences in a transcript. Particularly as no investigation was announced prior to funding.
Seriously, as I said earlier, 20 Republicans need to back this craziness for Trump to be removed from office assuming no Democrats drop the ball. The smarter Democrats are probably going to jump ship if they have the option, Jeff Van Drew has already shown them the way to do it. Pelosi is a monster but she is smart enough to know what's coming.
Unless a "blue dress" shows up, this will end badly for a humiliated Democrat party, just as every other investigation into Trump has done so far. You might not like that fact, but that's the reality.
