I exited ARV quite a while ago myself - soon after the talk of drilling the deepest holes in Australia, spending money to take a plant to 80% completion without any sources of ore to feed it and various other follies and frolics and lack of focus that has resulted in the company's reputation and share price being what it is today.

I noticed that there was some talk about another private interest looking at SX/EW at Whundoo? Anyone else got more info on this and where this suggested SX/EW operation would be? Presumably on a granted mining lease? Pretty vague stuff.

At least its encouraging to hear that the focus of the company has returned to Carlow Castle (the main reason that I got in) and the Radio Hill plant. As others have said - some very "rubbery" timelines and still a long slow path to actual production, they seem to be saying that they won't have a full feasibility document ready until the end of 2020, and that still leaves them with the issue of they are going to raise funds to actually push the go button and commence production. I don't think they are going to get any traction or recognition from the market until they commence commercial production of metal, and even then I would suggest that some sceptics would want to see a quarter or two of stable production with recoveries of copper, gold and cobalt before they would be prepared to buy ARV shares. So its still a bottom drawer proposition for 12 months minimum...

I expect that Ed's geology is better than his presentation skills. Was good to hear that he isn't interested in any expenditure at Haverion (let Newcrest spend the money on drilling) and no further work on conglomerate hosted gold nuggets (let Novo chase that rainbow). If they had just stayed focused on the core Carlow Castle and Radio Hill assets then they would have been much closer to production than they are now.
