A year ago the RRL share price was sitting at around $4.80. When the December 2018 Quarterly Report was released the realised gold price was around AUD$1,700 per Oz. Fast forward 12 months and RRL is ticking along nicely and will realise > AUD$2,000 per Oz.
With the increased EBITDA I expect that dividends will progressively increase with the POG. It is not unfathomable for those buying at today’s prices to be sitting on a dividend yield north of 7% in the medium term future.
The share price is clearly disconnected from the fundamentals. I don’t expect this to last much longer.
