    I'm sure some others here have worked on/with/in mining operations in South America...?

    I have had first hand experiences with months and months of delays due to specific contracts awaiting signatures (not decisions, just final sign-off).

    Don't believe me though, but DSmoreR before you conclude that it's all rainbows and lollipops trying to get things done over there, and it can also, at times, be similarly frustrating and drawn-out here in Oz too.

    They say "2 weeks", it means "should be soon-ish". Might be a while. Harsh but true. Find people who are in the game, and talk to them about it. I am not making excuses for the company, I am simply being realistic, based on experience.
    Why did Simon say a couple of weeks then? He may indeed have had "confirmation" then that the lining prep would commence in that time. Things change. Don't assume that he pulled the number out of thin air. Don't automatically assume that the GXY guys (here or there) are entirely in control of the timing of that work. Don't assume that they NEED to tell you if the plans have since changed, or issues have since arisen, on such a minor operational aspect of the business. How does it affect the critical path? Don't assume that it is highest priority.

    We had one lone "John" at the recent briefing day meeting. Thanks John for asking your question re cap raising.

    Where on earth was everyone else, so (apparently) concerned and disgusted with management!?!?!?!? Where was the "outrage"?!?!? You had a perfect chance to put any/all questions to them, yet you vent here instead?! Come off it.
    Get on the phone to the company, demand to speak with Simon. Go on. You won't though, will you? Funny that.

    That tells me that some are not genuinely seeking answers or clarification, they are simply venting and/or pushing an agenda to build disgust/hatred in others too. Round up the lynch mob. Stir up some anger. Exaggerating with comments like "not doing what they say for another year". Yes Thesi, that's you exaggerating as though NOTHING has been progressed. BS.
    We all want it to go quicker. Don't get me wrong. We all want to know more about what is or isn't happening. Whinging here solves nothing though. You know that. What's the agenda then? Seriously, just the other day you were gripping your seat awaiting to be blown away by what was potentially in play (?), now it's complaints central.

    Too many games. I don't buy the hot/cold sentiment anymore.

    If you've had enough, you know what to do. Simple. If you still want in, but want something to change about the company or their communications, then the focus should hardly be venting via some anonymous stock forum..? I'm sure we'd all be happy to hear about it AFTER you've called and written to them numerous times, and or still got no reasonable response. Try it perhaps.

    Surely you are switched on enough to understand who can address your concerns and how to get access to them. Rhetoric here is useless in getting the answers or change you seek.
    There's probably 50 of us here who could spend the next 6 pages of the forum picking on and bagging out progress and comms etc.. is that the aim? C'mon man, there's no point in that whatsoever.
