Would be crazy these days IMO if there were full on wars with psychopaths running around full of Ice/Crystal Meth instead of dope!!
No big deal if they aren't in the command centre. No crack-head is going to be given an aircraft. I was about to say they wouldn't get command of a tank either, but I'm not sure that is impossible.
My little ex-Vietnam mate seems to think beer and STDs were the biggest worry. He had a lot of contact with the 101st Airborne (Screaming Eagles) and thought they were great. Good soldiers who ensured that the cold-room and beer was was on the first aircraft into a new base. Why would any Aussie shun their company? Atomou overstates his case but there certainly was a lot of grass around which led to a loss of standards and DEATH!
