    I do recall a recent report that said fighter pilots are regularly given amphetamines speed) for combat missions as it hones their instincts/reflexes and provides added agression.

    So do I, now that you mention it. But why do highly trained and motivated warriors (Yanks hate Ruskies by the time they get to school), fighting at "arm's length" need an aid to "aggression"? Isn't this a direct (but more scientific) parallel to the "gunfire breakfast"? Isn't that where we started?
