Intellectual Property is not as simple as skimming through few Opinion documents from an International Searching Authority which isn't even required to search scientific and mathematical theories.
- Bio-Gene’s current patents are approved and don’t expire until May 2022. Bio-Gene also has the option of renewing all of them before expiry in key North American and European markets. This is taken straight from the prospectus:
- The company has submitted several patents since listing including how beta-triketones work with combination chemistry and on resistant strains
- Robert Klupacs sits on the board of BGT and is a patent attorney
- BGT owns all IP under their MTA Agreements with 6+ companies testing across all verticals
- Recent Mosquito data will create further IP especially as supporting evidence around our Mode of Action
- IP also relates to manufacturing processes and internal knowledge which Bio-Gene will keep as trade secrets
I’d rather be on the side of BASF, Australian Government, CSIRO, ex Nufarm MD Doug Rathbone, Catherine Hill and other experts involved with BGT. Their level of due diligence will be far greater than any unhinged armchair critic with no qualifications.
