A quick look through the c's on the OTCBB listings shows dozens of huge companies, incl Commonwealth Bank of Australia with a market cap shown as $46 billion and Computershare Aust.

OTC listings are certainly not restricted to small companies.

Fairly sure Apple Computer was listed on Western Over the Counter until the NASDAQ came along.
