prediction is a very difficult business unless you have regular events -
however, what's even more difficult is to have predictions of events by specified dates - that's even more difficult
that said ----------- the artic is getting closer and closer to ice free and no one really knows what will happen when it happens - but, it probably won't be good if it does
at this exact time in history ------- do we need reminding that Oz is on fire?
do we really need to drive through a lot of areas and see droughts as bad as we have ever heard about?
what's up for grabs is if it's anything to do with climate change - even more up for grabs is if we have anything to do with it - then, if there's anything we can do about it - if it is or isn't our fault
the big point is ------------ something is happening - and, we are experiencing bad things -------- and, we know, that the earth has had bad things happen in the past ---
surely, the smart thing to do would be to engineer for bad things ------- regardless of the cause - whether it's us or not, whether it's here now or not - sooner or later - poo is coming - start building smarter
