to me - the entire climate debate is a total waste of space and energy --

    1. everyone believes in climate change - everyone knows that climate is continually changing
    2. everyone believes in ice ages and warm periods
    3. most people realise that an ice age is overdue
    4. most or many people believe that an ice age can come fairly suddenly - ditto warm periods

IF climate change is a constant and IF we are over due for an ice age

why the hell do we build anything that will not work under 1km of ice?

why do we build anything that will not work covered in dust?

surely at this stage of our technological development - we can make systems that do such things

instead of developing systems that can ensure our survival as a species in conditions that we would otherwise perish in --------------- off we go to wars - spend trillions, kill millions -----------

    is this wise?

arrrh - the military industrial complex????? --

why can't the military industrial complex make profit from ensuring human survival as opposed to bumping each other off ------ is there imagination so lacking?

there's no profit to be made if we are dead - and, there sure won't be a lot of customers around in an ice age -nor if a bloody big asteroid hits and covers us all in bulldust

so, the climate debate ------------------- great big waste of time and effort -

we KNOW what we have to do -------------- get on with it - because we know what's coming - we just don't know when
