TP, for growth potential, check out the suburbs in the south east, along the new eastlink (approx. 40kms long) -
Mitcham, Ringwood, Wantirna (lovely suburb), Frankston, etc... have lived in the west and south east and would choose the south east any day !
Also look out for the blue ribbon areas in Melbourne, as the first areas to start rebounding, as an indication that other areas will start to follow suit.
Speaking to several agents/analysts, we are at the bottom or close to it, so don't take too long to invest - spring selling season and 2 rate cuts expected this year, will get things moving again soon IMO.
