short position falling

the asx reported short position has fallen to 4.85mio shares
its slowly falling,this does not include unreported shorts,
i understand there are 2 US based funds who are short in large,i dont dont where they borrowed their stock from but heard that fmg have contacted insto holders about stock lending as some custodians dont tell the instos when they lend out their stock even though some insto's refuse to lend stock to hedge funds (what a joke our system is!) and also have been told the authorities are investigating these US fund's activities.
