Well I wont give all the secrets away but have a close look at each of these around break out time...I can post hundreds of these examples from a 20 yr catalog of studying and trading them...breakouts are based on the physics of supply and demand a bigger crowd of buyers than sellers rock up for what ever that demand reason is, who really can say and who cares anyway we all just want to see price going up and take a profit from it.. if were honest thats the most important thing right? ..sometimes prices rise on insider activity alone or TA traders alone or an index re`weighting, dividends, options expiry, boiler room rampers...CRs..the list goes on and on..who knows!.. but what we can tell and say with accuracy is when price is going up or down this is pure TA... but not always the reasons behind it.
