Yes, SF, it looks like hell on earth down here. So much smoke that day has turned to a red night and visibility is down to 30/100 yards depending on the wind. All roads in and out are cut. Nevertheless, we are quite safe for the moment - fingers crossed. Next week, maybe not.
If anything, this event (when its finally over come March/April), should mark the political turnaround for fossil fuels. The public, particularly those effected directly by fire and city smoke, are about ready to string Morrison up by the sack for ignoring the fire experts warnings.
Out of this tragedy, all bodes well for lithium and EVs in the Australian context.
