re: management blah blah Shelly thanks for your comments.
A ballance in the pro-quo posting is healthy.
What do we expect from management?
1. A positive "track record" of past achievements.
2. Tight financial management.
3. Open, accountable and honest communication.
Tis up to individuals to weigh up these facors - and perhaps others - in rating SLT management performance.
Item 3 is one concern.
It would be fair to suggest - I believe - that the communication is not achieving a high rating.
Too much "raz-a-majazz".
Too many promises not fulfilled.
Statements suggesting --
"SLT is having a difficult time finalising contracts. The product testing will take time before final ageements can be formulated" --
would be much more honest and acceptable than comments such as --
"Contract will be finalised before 2004 - In January, In February, etc.
Delays are not the problem.
Packaging misleading information is.
Shareholders hope your judgement is correct in that success is on the way.
Cheers
