The question to ask is "What could have been done to help prevent this disaster?" and the answer is obvious to anyone with an IQ above their shoe size. REDUCE FUEL LOADS..IT IS SO OBVIOUS NO FUEL NO FIRE If fuel loads are allowed to accumulate, they will eventually burn at the first ignition event. This can come from an arsonist, a discarded cigarette but, a camp fire not properly extinguished, a lightning strike or myriad other events. A fire is inevitable and the longer the fuel is allowed to accumulate, the fiercer the fire. That is all you need to know about bush fires!
