"he is acting in the companies best interests"

Your argument has changed completely unless you feel the undertaking of a risky venture "just" (i.e. solely) to annoy someone because of personal emotions would be considered acting in the best interests of the company.

And let't not even get into:

"if i was director i would do exactly as sage has done"

I hope and don't feel I have quoted you out of context. Your initial post seemed unjustifiably critical to Mr Sage considering what it was based on which I felt completely unfair and needed responding to. I do appreciate a lot of the information you do post and research you do.
