Hi findinggems, the reason the director you are referring to resigned from TON (the ASX listed company you are referring to) is that Shandong Tyiane have divested their interest in TON, he was one of their nominated Directors , as they were the largest holder. They divested their interest to a Chinese State owned enterprise for $11m, all finalised in December.
