There is no value attaining to existing shares if BTA cancels shares then issues more in the same breath.
Do you understand this !!!

Example As you might need it

They spend 1 million dollars of after tax funds to buy 1 million shares ( say they are $1 each )

They then issue two million shares at (next to nics) as options.

What are you missing here !!!

How can this be sustainable and using Shareholders funds wisely.

Who knows offhand the actual total number of options that they plan to issue themselves.

We can then work out the total buyback cost and what they plan to reissue.
Each passing day with a buyback just makes there options more valuable without adding any intrinsic value to this company.


Is that plain enough corparate finance for you.
